Southside has won the 2010 Minnesota Academic Excellence Foundation (MAEF) School Spotlight on Community Award. MAEF “is a non-profit organization that promotes academic excellence in Minnesota public and nonpublic schools and communities through public-private partnerships. MAEF advocates, promotes and recognizes academic excellence in all Minnesota elementary and secondary students, schools and communities.”
According to MAEF “award-winning schools demonstrated unique curriculum, student support programs and staff development that greatly impacts student success.” An award ceremony will be scheduled soon. We are thrilled to be recognized by MAEF and extend our thanks to the friends, families, and partner organizations that make Southside’s program a success.
