Celebrated Mississippi Freedom Fighter Hollis Watkins is the Co-founder and President of Southern Echo, Inc., a leadership development, education, training, and technical assistance organization dedicated to empowering local residents throughout Mississippi and the Southern region to make political, economic, educational, and environmental systems accountable to the needs and interests of the African-American community.
Family members, friends and community guests are invited to enjoy a community dinner followed by an evening of storytelling, song and conversation with Hollis Watkins at Southside Family Charter School on Tuesday, January 17, 2012, 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
